After eight beautiful years living in Savannah, this New England girl decided it was time to head back home to her roots and her seasons. And I couldn’t have asked for a better winter to come home to.
It’s been one snow storm after another since I moved back in December averaging one, sometimes even two a week. Everyone around me is grumbling and counting the minutes until they can see the ground again. I may be the only person in New England who’s not cursing that furry little groundhog.
I think the 8 winters I missed living in the south is getting packed all into one. It’s just been awesome. I’ve been skiing multiple times (it’s like riding a bike by the way), and the photographer in me couldn’t resist going out on a few winter treks with my trusty new Canon 70D.
I wanted to share with you some of the images I captured in New Hampshire and Maine this winter.
